The tapes were recorded in extended-play modes, meaning that many of these tapes contained 6-8 hours of content, but at some cost to quality, which will be apparent on some of the recordings. The digital video files have been created at sufficient resolution and quality settings to avoid any further degradation to the materials, with a corresponding increase in the file sizes.
