The war between the invaders turned out to be disastrous for the entire land. Fierce competition has distorted the structure of reality, bringing terrifying monsters to life. Those who survived the pogrom managed to create small enclaves scattered all over the world. Moreover, a few of the survivors possessed extraordinary abilities, which give hope that people, with the help of a brave hero, will be able to organize a resistance movement and save what is left of old Cairn. Graphically, Grim Dawn for Windows PC looks similar to its predecessor because it uses the improved Iron Lore engine, the same one used to create Titan Quest.
