Scramble: Battle of Britain is a tactical turn-based strategy focused on aerial aircraft clashes. In the work of the Slitherine studio, specializing in war games, we participate in the campaign known as the Battle of Britain during World War II. The position allows us to take control of historical planes belonging to the British forces (Royal Air Force; including Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane and Gloster Gladiator) or German forces (Luftwaffe; e.g. Messerschmitt Bf 109, Heinkel He111 or Junkers JU87). In Scramble: Battle of Britain we take part in air battles over the English Channel, striving for our squadron to win. Battles are played in turns, which are divided into three phases. The first is planning, during which we establish an action plan, demonstrating our tactical skills. In this phase, we take indirect control over the planes, precisely determining the trajectory of their movement and deciding when they will open fire. The time limit for making decisions adds dynamics to the game. Scramble: Battle of Britain offers single-player and multiplayer fun (via the network or on the same computer). We can take part in various missions - including skirmishes and more complex scenarios involving various types of aircraft aimed at achieving specific goals.
