In the game by Alawar Premium, we visit procedurally generated levels in selected biomes. The most important location on each map is the Black Tower - the headquarters of the main character, which must be defended, because losing it means losing the game. We can expand both its interior and the area around it, gaining, among others: access to new spells and resources. The key mechanic in Necrosmith 2 is bringing to life creatures that constitute the core of our army. For this purpose, we use individual body elements (heads, torsos, legs and arms) to create creatures characteristic of the fantasy genre. These will be skeletons, trolls and fairies. However, nothing stops you from combining individual parts in any way, giving the players an unusual look and unique skills. A novelty presented in the second part of the series are titans, i.e. special, powerful units that not only stand in our way, but also join the necromancer's army. Subordinates are used to defend the tower, carry out attacks and explore the world, and their strength increases as the night falls. We can equip soldiers and scouts with body elements that will perform best in combat or in the field, e.g. when crossing high mountains, rivers or lava lakes. With their help, we will also obtain magical artifacts that make the game easier. Like the first installment of the series, in Necrosmith 2 we observe the action in an isometric projection, and the visual layer was made in the pixel art technique.
