Many years ago, when Hunter Eric (Chris Hemsworth) He was a little boy, his northern country was conquered by the Ice Queen Freya (Emily Blunt), the younger sister of the sorceress Ravenna (Charlize Theron). Usually you have to ask yourself the question: "Did I like the previous movie?" After all, sequels tend to bend the line of their predecessors, and if you liked movie number one, then movie number two has a good chance of a similar rating. In the case of Snow White and the Huntsman 2, it's exactly the opposite. If you were delighted with Rupert Sanders' dark fantasy with Kristen Stewart's "princess-not-laughing" as Snow White, then the sequel by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan will disappoint and even offend you. Where is the promised Snow White in the Russian title? Where are the faces forever distorted by suffering? Where is the epic rubilovo in the final between two powerful armies? And where is the pervasive darkness that obscures even scenes in the bright sun? None of this is in the new film. Although he talks about the Hunter, Ravenna and related characters again, he does it in exactly the opposite spirit. Instead of a dark and bloody fantasy, "Snow White and the Huntsman 2" offers a romantic-adventure fantasy, where almost all the worst happens in the prologue. Then it's just up, both plot–wise and emotionally. If in the previous film Eric was tirelessly sad because he did not save his wife, then in the new picture Eric finds an imaginary dead woman, and Chris Hemsworth's face after that regularly spreads into a wide Gagarin smile. How – the beloved redhead is back! However, Sarah does not rush into his arms, but accuses him of abandoning her in Freya's kingdom. But these are small things compared to what Eric felt before. And no unreasonable reproaches knock the hero off the love positive. And Sarah also thaws quite quickly, despite years of freezing. So the cute ones scold – they just amuse themselves. And, of course, they entertain the audience with their romcom skirmishes. To make it even more fun for the audience, the heroes on the campaign are accompanied not by seven gloomy male dwarfs, but by two funny dwarfs (Nick Frost's Nion, already familiar to the audience, and newcomer Griff, played by comedian Rob Brydon), who are eventually joined by two even funnier dwarfs (Sheridan Smith and Alexandra Roach). And since dwarven traditions prescribe to goat the opposite sex and reproduce exclusively by accident and not on purpose, three swearing couples appear on the screen at once.
