I would like to round out the list of Michael Powell films, so this seems like a good place to start (Thief of Bagdad is available on youtube) Contraband is a combination of war-movie and Hitchcock-style thriller, concerning a neutral (Danish) ship which is inspected by the British to make sure it's not aiding the enemy. Some peculiar passengers are aboard... This is old-style filmmaking, but people who enjoyed The Lady Vanishes of The Thirty-Nine Steps should enjoy this. In segmented mpg format - plays in VLC, but you may have trouble burning it.
