Half of these tracks are sung by David Bowie, and are alternate versions of what turned up on his "Hunky Dory" album that year. That also includes "Andy Warhol", which in this case is sung even better by Dana Gillespie! In fact he wrote the song for her originally. I don't like Dana's blues songs, but she had a beautiful voice and only on occasion does she go into rock territory. There is a missing track -- an early version of "Queen Bitch" , but my understanding is that it isn't any different from the one on Hunky Dory...except that one of them isn't in stereo. They both had released a few albums by that time, but Dana didn't have one in 1971 so she probably just released some singles.
