Black comedy set in a chocolate factory. Michael Palin wrote this, he seems to have intended it as a satire on the social climate of the time, like in Crimson Permanent Assurance. Sondheim's Sweeney Todd also is rooted in this milieu, but Consuming Passions is relatively lighthearted fluff. People have been complaining that this movie is not available.
