John Newman, né le 16 juin 1990 à Settle (Yorkshire du Nord), est un chanteur et un musicien britannique. Il est principalement connu pour son interprétation de sa chanson Love Me Again, qui l a propulsé numéro un des classements britanniques en juillet 20131. John Newman a grandi à Settle dans le Yorkshire Dales. Il a commencé à jouer de la guitare et à écrire ses propres chansons à 14 ans. À 20 ans, il déménage à Londres, forme un groupe, joue en live et signe avec le label Island Records. En mai 2012, John Newman collabore au titre du groupe Rudimental, Feel the Love. Le morceau se hisse à la tête des ventes au Royaume-Uni début juin 2012. En novembre de la même année, il collabore de nouveau avec le groupe Rudimental à l enregistrement de Not Giving In, qui atteindra la quatorzième place au palmarès britannique. En juin 2013, paraît le premier titre de John Newman Love Me Again, extrait de son premier album.
