"I'm Casey Kasem counting down to the most popular song in the USA." American Top 40 with Casey Kasem aired on radio from July 4, 1970 until August 6, 1988. This recording is a rebroadcast from internet radio. In this countdown: The Human League debuts their song "Don't You Want Me" (at number 39) and Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder debut their new duet "Ebony & Ivory" on the hot 100 all the way up at number 29. A listener wants to know if any song has hit the top 40 in each of the last three decades; the 60's, the 70's, and the 80's. Casey lists the top five, one of which is "Everlasting Love" which would also be a hit for Gloria Estefan in 1995.
