American Top 40 with Casey Kasem aired on radio from July 4, 1970 until August 6, 1988. This recording is a rebroadcast from internet radio. Casey reads lyrics from other songs she wrote: including this: "Rows and flows of angel hair, and ice cream castles in the air, and feather canyons everywhere." A listener heard Casey say Charlie Rich's song, "The Most Beautiful Girl" was the only song in the last five years to hit number one on the pop and country charts. He asks if that has ever happened with different artists but the same song. Casey says yes, to three different songs in the 50's. The youngest pupil Julliard ever had (age 6) is at number 18, Marvin Hamlisch with "The Entertainer."
