Episode 3 Bernie welcomes a new co-worker, an American girl explains a meaningful conversation with a man and the scared woman is scared again. Episode 4 Paul and Sam discover that their geography is a bit rusty, Nan is excited about Meals On Wheels and Carole is annoyed by vegetarians, mime artists and windscreen washers. Episode 5 Sandra shows us the silly game of 'Last Hit' - however, things soon turn ugly when a man gets hit by a car, but still feels as if he needs to play. Nan and her grandson visit the Pound Shop where everything doesn't go according to plan. Episode 2 The Aga Saga Woman is terrified by a Geordie babysitter, Irene & Vern describe their encounter with Desmond Tutu and Nan's visit at the doctor soon turns unpleasant. Episode 3 Ivan & Trudy present their 'wig emporium', Derek Faye purchases a David Beckham calendar and are hospital nurses stealing Nan's personal belongings? Episode 4 Nan is introduced to Jamie's girlfriend who is a little sensitive about her nose, a drunk bride reveals too much truth, Lauren gets a tattoo of her boyfriend and Irene is excited about meeting Mikhail Gorbachov in her burger van. Episode 5 Paul meets Sam's parents who are still laughing about their fancy dress party, Bernie meets a new member of staff and Nan comes home from a funeral and discovers that Lena owed her money. Episode 1 A Northern Irish mum is delighted that her son is gay. Meanwhile, Nan visits an old friend in hospital and Lauren takes a job in a burger bar. Episode 2 Lauren joins the cheerleaders to impress Ryan, 50s landlady Ma Willow makes her first appearance and Nan has a mouse in her house. Episode 3 Derek Faye meets Bonnie Langford, Lauren receives a proposal, Nan has a new neighbour from upstairs and Bernie's brothers and sisters from Ireland come for a visit. Episode 4 Gingers For Justice take to the rooftops, Lauren causes trouble in science class and The Aga Saga Woman and her children are terrified when a mechanic brings over a courtesy car whilst her Land Rover is being repaired. Episode 5 Nan appears on Paul O'Grady's teatime show and broadcasts her horrible views to the nation. The Aga Saga Woman takes a wrong turn into Tottenham and Lauren refuses to speak French for a French oral exam.
