Sinopse Pt Br: O Dr. Russel Marvin lidera o projeto Sky Hook, uma série de foguetes orbitais que visam o primeiro passo do homem rumo ao espaço. Mas para o desapontamento do cientista e da equipe, todos os foguetes explodem antes de atingir o espaço e caem na Terra.
