Stephen Muires is author of ‘Ordained – a novel.’ On these recordings I am going on a much more experimental path. You can see this from the titles of the tracks. Five of the tracks use two flutes in different keys. The tune each flute plays harmonizes (or not) with the other. The music is created in the space between the two flutes. This creates some amazing effects, and sometimes sets your hair on end. The first 7 tracks were recorded before my vision quest in Death Valley. The remaining 8 were recorded after I returned. I think something changed then.
