While in exile, Pendragon plot his return. He gets his chance during Princess Elaine’s (Judi Meredith) birthday celebration, presenting her with a gift of a miniature dancing jester. When night falls he uses dark magic to cause the jester to turn into a giant and kidnap the princess. As the monster returns to Pendragon, it crosses paths with farmer Jack (Kerwin Mathews). With a bit of luck and a lot of bravery, Jack slays the evil giant just minutes before King Mark (Dayton Lummis) arrives. The king realizes that Pendragon is behind the kidnapping, so he commands Jack to guide Elaine (both disguised as peasants) to a convent in Normandy. Elaine's lady servant complicates things however, when she secretly reports to the Black Prince the travelers’ whereabouts and the ship they'll travel aboard.
