Childhood friends Tracy Lord and C.K. Dexter Haven got married and quickly divorced. Now Tracy is about to marry again, this time to a shrewd social-climbing businessman. Bing still loves her. Spy magazine blackmails Grace's family by threatening to reveal her playboy father's exploits if not allowed to cover the wedding. Bing Crosby as C. K. Dexter-Haven Grace Kelly as Tracy Samantha Lord Frank Sinatra as Macauley "Mike" Connor Celeste Holm as Liz Imbrie John Lund as George Kittredge Louis Calhern as Uncle Willie Sidney Blackmer as Seth Lord Louis Armstrong and His Band as themselves Many say this is a remake of The Philadelphia Story, but I don't see much similarity in the two films other than the basic plot. I enjoy this one more, probably because of the music. Great to see Bing and Grace sing True Love
