War and Peace (Война и мир) (1967) Directed by Sergei Bondarchuck Produced by Mosfilm English subtitles originally by Tatiana Kameneva, resynched and adjusted by the author of this package. The four films included are as follows: War and Peace - Part 1 - Andrei Bolkonsky War and Peace - Part 2 - Natasha Rostova War and Peace - Part 3 - The Year of 1812 War and Peace - Part 4 - Pierre Bezukhov This is a compilation of the four films of the War and Peace film adaptation directed and produced in the Soviet Union and released originally in 1967. In May 2018, a new HD version was officially released for free in the Mosfilm Youtube channel: This release was the first high quality remaster of the 70mm print in 2.20 : 1 aspect ratio. Sadly, it lacked English subtitles. While a true 4K edition is yet to be released by Mosfilm, I decided to compile this new version in a single package along with the English subtitles from a previous Mosfilm edition for everyone to enjoy. The subtitles were resynched to the new videos and slightly edited to make reading easier in some parts. Enjoy and share!
