When this film came out in the cinema and on DVD the colours had a warm feeling to them that many felt nicely reflected the Australian heat and also the hellish post-apocalyptic setting of this film. However when the blu-ray came out, a blanket green tint had been plastered all over the transfer, drowning out the other colours and sucking out all the warmth from the film, making it feel a lot colder. There were also many complaints on forums of the transfer being too dark so during the scenes at night it was difficult to make out what was going on. I got a number of requests to check the blu-ray out and see what I could do to fix the colours and image dynamics so I have gone ahead and removed the blanket green tint, bringing back the warmth and colours to the transfer. I have also brightened the film so its easier to make out what's going on in the night scenes. English and Spanish subtitles are also included in this release, as well as the DTS-HD 5.1 track from the blu-ray and chapter listings.
